The Great O draws a parallel between the laws of
astronomy and ideas about chaos and order in the universe. A jumpy stop-motion
sequence of the Moon as seen from Earth is connected to a scene of a magician
juggling in front of a snow-covered pyramid. He’s handling white spheres,
subtly representing planetary bodies.
It is shot at Stjärneborg, the grave of the eccentric Malte Stierngranat, close to where we live in the deep forest of Småland!

We were part of an event called Smack Bang where 5 artists showed their work in the harbour of Helsingborg the 4/12-2011. It was a storm and the waves were rolling over the screen of Le Sous-Marin. In the background you can see Denmark and there were ships passing by. It was the perfect setting for this work.
